What does it mean to live in the time of the Anointed? I first saw her for myself during a hunt which should’ve been my last. Two other Braves and I were ambushing a herd of Lancehorns when in the commotion, two Scrappers rushed in, turning the ambush on us. We thrust our spears at their plated hides, but each strike merely scraped off metal shavings. They clattered my companions to the ground and I scrambled back, crying for help - despite knowing we were far too deep in the wilds for anyone to hear. And yet, just as a Scrapper pounced at me, three arrows flying as one whistled into its haunches, and its light blinked out before hitting the ground. The last tenants had left it quite dusty too, which suited him well because he never liked things to be too clean (this is so he blended in). And the local weather was drier than your great uncle’s humor. But he had no phone to call on the landlord or lady (I can’t be sure of the gender) and i
