Welcome to an activity in which you basically tell me what to draw. The focus being: crossovers between any two franchises.

Welcome to an activity in which you basically tell me what to draw. The focus being: crossovers between any two franchises.
I will have 2 polls running, each with 10 different franchises – one determines the subject and the other determines the theme. Every second week, I’ll take the highest voted franchises from each list and combine them with an illustration into a Frankenstein’s monster of franchises – the “Franchistein”, if you will.
Additionally, there will be 2 similar polls formed with any and all suggestions you make. These determine which franchises will appear in the top 10 lists.
I created a few examples, to give you an idea of the remixes:
Legend of Zelda + Tron
Alice in Wonderland + Kill la Kill
Dragon Ball + Metal Gear Solid
After each round, there will be a new remix posted and an updated set of lists.
Remember that the franchises can be anything - games, movies, books, podcast shows, comics, and such.

Commission Guide

SUBJECT MATTER Primarily humanoid/anthro characters (no actual creatures or vehicles/mechs) NSFW CONTENT Softcore/"above the belt" is totally fine (as long as it's with original characters) DESIGN WORK Character/outfit design has an additional fee depending on the complexity. I'm keeping the process fairly streamlined by just doing one design sketch based on your description/references. And then you can request changes in the sketch stage, and refine the palette in the color stage. BACKGROUNDS I'm not offering any detailed backgrounds. So, by default the artwork will have a flat backdrop color to compliment the character, and I'll also provide a transparent background version. Refreshing my routine
Many many drawings ago, back in 2013, I got my first ever job - working for an art production company. It was a really great opportunity and I got a lot from that experience. But it was also full-time - which meant my personal art became a secondary priority. This is actually a big reason why I started Franchise Remix - to give myself a series of fun drawings that meant I was always making some personal art between professional work. But recently, I've been more and more eager to move forward with my own projects. So after almost seven years, I've resigned from that job. It's a bit scary to not have that steady income, but it also feels amazing to be totally in control of my time. I'm not exactly sure how this will affect my art routine - I'll certainly be diving into more commissions. But, as the title of this post says - it was just time to refresh things and hopefully it means I can now put more focus into my own projects and start telling bigger stories with my art. At the
Petition to keep Classic layout
You might have seen the announcement that in May, DeviantArt will be making the new Eclipse layout a permanent change for all users. Eclipse has certainly provided some cool new features, but it seems a bit unfortunate to remove the option of switching back to the Classic layout.
Coincidentally, I recently posted a poll asking which layout people use and I was amazed to see that 90% of you guys are also still on the Classic layout.
So, in case anyone wanted to help keep Classic as an option, you can sign the petition linked below and hopefully the DA staff will reconsider things a bit. :thumbsup:

Art feature: Zeldaloy
I just stumbled across this 3D artist, Victor Herranz on ArtStation - who's expertly created a fantastic character fusion piece. What's more is, the fusion features two of my absolute favorite characters: Breath of the Wild's Zelda and Horizon: Zero Dawn's Aloy!

Just a question : Do you mind obscure things like belgian comics (I'm french. I think the most known in the world must be Tintin, since Spielberg adapted it in 2010. And, I should also say Astérix, but, it's well selled mostly in France, and the humor is full of reference to french laws or events... So, I cannot really recommend.) or very little known games like Drill Dozer or Parasite Eve... Or obvious cartoons like Steven Universe ?
(And some movies suggestions that I find cool : The Mask, Kung Fu Panda, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kingsman the Secret Service, Inside Out, The Incredibles...)
Oh, and Punch-Out. Punch-Out is kewl.
